2009 CFDA Fashion Awards Brings Out the Stars

Making for quite the star-studded affair, Hollywood’s hottest were on hand for the 2009 CFDA Awards at the Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday night (June 15).

Among those gracing the red carpet at at Alice Tully Hall were “Twilight” hunk Taylor Lautner and “Gossip Girl” actress Blake Lively, both looking charming as they posed for event photographers.

Also in attendance at the annual event honoring the top designers were lovely actresses such as Claire Danes, Ashley Olsen, Kirsten Dunst, Michelle Trachtenberg and Diane Kruger.

Rounding out the guest list were Victoria’s Secret beauties Doutzen Kroes and Heidi Klum, who took to the red carpet while proudly showing off her growing baby bump.

Among the night’s nominees were Marc Jacobs, the Mulleavy sisters, Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Keepin’ Beautiful at Byron & Tracey

Keeping up with her fashionable look, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted out for a pampering session in Beverly Hills, California on Monday.

After finishing up at the Byron & Tracey Hair Salon, the “Iron Man” actress strolled to her car decked out in a cute black jacket with black top, olive rolled-up trousers and sandals.

As for keeping a fit physique, which has been one of Gwyn’s main focuses these days, she told press of her trainer, “Tracy (Anderson) has changed my body completely. I had always been dedicated to exercise, but no matter how hard I worked, I never was able to change the things that bothered me. Her method is so rewarding because, yes, you are working hard, but you know you are getting somewhere.”

The Oscar-winning actress adds, “I really never thought that at 36, after two children, I could look better than I ever had. She has totally transformed my bottom. It has always been my hardest, most stubborn area to change, but she literally made me work my butt off.”

Kristen Stewart: Carpooling with Joan Jett!

Fortunate enough to get pointers from her character, Kristen Stewart was spotted carpooling with Joan Jett to rehearse for the upcoming film “The Runaways” on Monday (June 15).

Both sporting their jet-black hairdos, the “Twilight” actress and her rock n’ roll pal hopped out of a fancy black Cadillac and headed inside the studio for the day’s workload.

Meanwhile, it was announced earlier today that Miss Stewart is nominated for Choice Movie Actress: Drama at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, while she and her “Twilight” co-stars find themselves at the top of the pack when it comes to Teen Choice Awards nominations.

The hit vampire flick is up for Choice Film: Romance, Choice Film: Drama, Choice Movie Actor: Drama, Choice Movie Actress: Drama, Choice Movie: Villain, Choice Movie: Fresh Face Female, Choice Movie: Fresh Face Male, Choice Movie: Liplock and Choice Movie: Rumble.

Heidi and Spencer Visit Fallon, Forgive Roker

Continuing about with a full day of promoting, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were spotted walking to the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” show at the NBC studios in New York City on Monday (June 15).

Prior to their Fallon stop, the “Hills” co-star couple also visited the “Alexa Chung Show” and the “Today” show - which led to a chastising at the hands of weatherman Al Roker.

Talking to Us magazine about the incident, Spencer tells, “People keep on referring to this weatherman like I’m supposed to know who he is. So a shout-out to Weatherman, who I guess got to even hang out with us this morning.”

Jumping in, Heidi adds, “This weather guy was definitely out of line, and he should stick to predicting cloudy days. Maybe someone rained on his little parade today. Please do not be rude to women in the future. Please do not be rude to me. Please watch your tone, especially if you have a mother or a wife or a daughter. I don’t think that they would appreciate you talking to them like that.”

In the end, deciding to forgive and let this one slide, Montag sayd, “I forgive you, you don’t even have to ask me, I already forgive you. It’s OK. The devil gets into all of us sometimes. You’re forgiven. It’ll be a sunny day tomorrow, Weatherman!”

Rihanna: Big Apple Beauty

Heading out for an evening romp around the Big Apple, Rihanna was looking ever-so-sexy as she walked out of her Manhattan pad on Monday (June 15).

Donning a form-fitting navy ensemble with a fierce gorilla design, the Barbadian beauty popped open her umbrella while being led to an awaiting car.

As for recent news, it was reported by the NY Daily News that Rihanna has her sights set on a new man - Orlando Magic basketballer Rshard Lewis.

“Rihanna is trying to get to know Rashard. She’s digging on him, and she hopes the feeling is mutual,” their insider tells.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth: “Last Song” Smooch!

Getting to work on her new movie, Miley Cyrus filmed a romantic scene with co-star Liam Hemsworth for her latest project, “The Last Song,” in Savannah, Georgia on Monday (June 15).

With today being the official first day of filming, the “Hannah Montana” sweetheart passionately kissed her Aussie co-star in the Disney film based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name.

Taking a break from the action to hit up her Twitter, Miley thanked fans for all of the Teen Choice nominations, gushing, “Omg i got nominated for 10 teen choice awards!!! ahhh thank u so much. i love u guys.”

Reiterating her disbelief, Miley added, “I still cant believe im up for all the teen choice awards! please please please vote!”

Chris Brown Hangs with Rihanna Lookalike

It was shocking enough to see Chris Brown and Rihanna at the same basketball game (sitting separate of course) last Thursday night, but what’s even more interesting is that Brown showed up to Game 5 of the NBA Finals last night with a woman who looked very much like his ex.

The “Kiss Kiss” singer sat two seats away from the Rihanna lookalike, who continued to lean forward throughout the game to chat to him.

Looks can be deceiving, however, as it was later confirmed that the woman was not the “Umbrella” singer - as she spotted in New York City earlier in the day.

After further investigation, People magazine reveals that the Rihanna lookalike happens to be Teyana Taylor, an 18-year-old rapper/singer based in New York.

Jon and Kate Gosselin: Separate Schedules

After making himself scarce for his 10-year-anniversary weekend, Jon Gosselin was finally out earlier today (June 15) in Reading, Pennsylvania.

While the father of 8 was spending time with eldest twin daughters, Cara and Mady, mom Kate was on her own schedule as she gassed up the family van after getting a haircut and some highlights.

As for their anniversary, Kate spent it with the children at their 1.1 million dollar estate in Wernersville, PA, and had to call the police at one point because of the prying paparazzi.

On tonight’s all new episode of “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” the family meets the guys from “Orange County Choppers.”

Carnie Wilson Welcomes Baby Girl

Bringing her second child into this world, Carnie Wilson gave birth to a healthy baby girl last Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The former “Wilson Phillips” singer is “Happy as a lark,” according to manager Mickey Shapiro, who adds, “Both mom and baby are doing well. They’re happy, healthy and smiling.”

Carnie and her husband, Rob Bonfiglio, named their bundle of joy, Luciana Bella, who comes 4 years after their first daughter, Lola Sofia.

The 41-year-old mama is currently hosting a new edition of “The Newlywed Game” which premiered back in April.

Gwen Stefani: Family White House Fun

Paying a visit to the nation’s capital, Gwen Stefani took time out of her busy tour schedule to take sons Kingston and Zuma out sightseeing in Washington DC on Monday (June 15).

Included in the group’s morning outing was a tour of the White House, of which the whole family seemed quite excited to visit the Obama household.

As for trying to juggle her No Doubt tour and motherhood, Stefani told Elle magazine, “Maybe once I sleep through the night, I’ll be able to write a song. That’s where I’m at.”

“Now I’m a wife and a mother of two. It’s a really different role,” she adds. “My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now. That’s a huge, huge thing.”

Danielle Lloyd Checks Out “Transformers”

Looking dolled up and ready to go, Danielle Lloyd walked the red carpet at the UK Premiere of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” earlier today (June 15).

The former Miss England model looked sophisticated in a long black dress accessorized with dangling gold earring shown off by a braided up do, and had her footballer boyfriend, Jamie O’Hara, as arm candy.

It’s nice to see Miss Lloyd out and about again after an altercation in a London nightclub a few weeks ago where she thought she was going to die.

The 25-year-old says of the incident, “I could feel myself slipping away. I really thought I was going to die. I was lying in a pool of my own blood, just screaming over and over: ‘I’m going to die! I’m going to die!’”

Police arrested two women on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on the night of the incident.

Kristen Stewart: Another Day of “The Runaways”

Getting ready for another day’s work, Kristen Stewart was spotted gassing up on the way to the set on Monday (June 15).

The Bella Swan actress has been prepping for the filming of her new movie, “The Runaways,” in which she plays Joan Jett alongside co-star Dakota Fanning.

Meanwhile, Miss Stewart and her “Twilight” co-stars find themselves at the top of the pack when it comes to Teen Choice Awards nominations.

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince: Still Going Strong

Putting to rest any trouble-in-paradise relationship rumors, Kate Moss and boyfriend Jamie Hince were spotted out for a Sunday (June 14) stroll in London.

The couple seemed to be in great spirits as they held hands while walking from shop to shop - all the while dressed in similar ensembles of grey jeans and white t-shirts.

As for those relationship rumors, the couple’s affectionate behavior seemed to say it all. A tabloid recently reported that Kate went out with former lover, Mario Sorrenti.

The model dated the photographer in the early 90’s and the two were reportedly caught leaving the fashionable fish restaurant, J. Sheekey, a few nights ago.

Megan Fox Premieres “Transformers” in the UK

She’s been busy promoting her new film “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” all over the world, and earlier today (June 15) Megan Fox was at the big UK premiere.

Joined by co-star Shia LaBeouf, the “Jennifer’s Body” babe looked super sexy as she posed for the paparazzi outside the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England sporting a low-cut black dress with black heels.

And though she’s been preoccupied with career responsibilities, Megan confessed that she’s been missing her pet pig ever since she gave him up.

Miss Fox explained, “I moved house and there was just no room for him, so I had to find him a new home. It broke my heart because I love that pig. I still miss him but he’s very happy where his is.”

Jennifer Lopez: “Back-Up Plan” Babe

Still working hard on her latest film “The Back-Up Plan,” Jennifer Lopez was spotted chilling out in between scenes on the Pasadena, California set today (June 15).

The “Waiting For Tonight” songstress looked lovely in a faux-pregnant suit, as she plays a woman who conceives by way of artificial insemination.

In related news, J. Lo recently told press that having her twins Max and Emme in her life has had a significant impact on her musical side.

“You can’t help but put not only your kids into it, but to put anything you are going through in your music. That’s the only thing you can really sing or write is stuff that you know. The more music you make and the more that you get into it and the more you write, the more you realize that’s all you can write.”
